I'm a graduate of the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH). I'm also trained in the Master Level of Reiki, a Japanese energy healing technique... ...and reflexology, a system of working on reflex areas of the feet that correspond to different parts of the body. Both modalities are excellent for stress relief and can be included in a massage therapy session. |
I have a particular interest in studying and treating:
- Headaches/migraines, neck tension
- Temporal Mandibular Joint (TMJ) Dysfunction (jaw tension, locking, clicking, clenching, grinding)
- Scoliosis (sideways curvature and twisting/rotating of the spine)
- The fascial system of the body (layer of connective tissue below the skin that encases all our bones, muscles, organs, blood vessels and nerves - it's the source of a lot of aches and pains, and can be manually manipulated to decrease pain and regain mobility)
